Personal Training – Before & After Interview Lisa
Tell us a little about yourself and your everyday life:
My job in the office means that I sit pretty much all day. As I have always been relatively slim, I could (and did) eat what I wanted, but I hardly put on any weight. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case and I have noticed that the clothes are getting tighter. I felt uncomfortable and wanted to change that. But the necessary motivation was lacking. When I did exercise, it was very irregular and otherwise I tended to do less.
Why did you choose the Before and After program?
I needed someone to motivate me. Small goals and a certain pressure to perform. The small goals for me were always the next measurement, what has changed, how many muscles have I built up etc.
What motivated you to start the fitness program and see it through?
My dissatisfaction. I felt sluggish, always tired, listless and unattractive – you have to reach a point where you say to yourself – that’s it, I WANT to change something.
What sport(s) did you do before the personal training program?
Sporadic gym (more focus on cardio), irregular EMS and the occasional hike at the weekend.
How did your sleep change during the program?
I slept more deeply, but for a shorter time.
What were the biggest changes you noticed during the program?
In the beginning I lost significantly weight. From the 2nd training program onwards I noticed how I built up muscle and generally became firmer. The cellulite has decreased and I feel much more comfortable in my body. I had an incredible amount of energy for the first 2 weeks, after that I always felt physically exhausted in the evening, but simply good!
What was the biggest change for you?
Get up early to go to the gym and don’t eat chocolate!
What is your favorite breakfast?
Sautéed smoked salmon (tastes like bacon) with raw vegetables.
How often and for how long did you train each week?
Strength training 4 times a week, 45 – 60 minutes, and sprints once a week for 15 minutes.
What is your favorite fitness exercise?
Squats 🙂
How often have you done endurance training to lose fat?
Not at all.
What feedback have you received from those around you about the change in recent weeks/months?
That I look good and I’m much slimmer!
What’s next for you with personal training?
I have decided to continue with the Personal Program. I want to see what is still possible and how far I can still go with my body!
