Personal Training – Before & After Interview Tanja

Tell us a little about yourself and your everyday life:
I was at a point where I felt totally physically unwell. Due to poor nutrition (including binge eating) I had reached my maximum weight, at least that’s how it felt, because I hadn’t been on the scales for a long time at that point. The weight made me feel unwell and I was very unmotivated to do sports. I didn’t know how to get out of this spiral and so I looked around for a personal trainer/personal training.

What motivated you to start the fitness program and see it through?
I really wanted to change something physically and was already very desperate. I then went to Michael for my first interview and that immediately gave me a good feeling. I also found the concept of small group training with the option of combining this with skin wrinkle measurement and nutritional advice perfect.

Which sport(s) did you do before the personal training program?
I have always been quite active in sports (body cross, jogging, gym).

How did your sleep change during the program?
There is still room for improvement when it comes to sleep, especially sleeping through the night. But I am fit in the morning and feel good. Together with Michael we are still trying to optimize my sleep, as I now know that good sleep has a great effect on body fat reduction and my regeneration.

What were the biggest changes you noticed during the program?
I don’t think I’ve ever been as well trained and fit as I am now. I may have been thinner in the past, thinner than I am now, but I am now much more defined and fitter than I have ever been, despite my advanced age.

I now feel totally comfortable in my body again and have much more self-confidence.

What was the biggest change for you?
Questioning diets that have been internalized for years:

The right carbohydrates are definitely allowed and make sense
Do not use light products
No, fat is not bad and it still works with losing weight or getting a defined body
Eat regularly What is your favorite breakfast?
Skyr/quark with nuts and berries

How often and for how long did you train each week?
I was already very motivated here, and the great training made it fun and motivated me. I did the personal training 2-3 times a week (1 hour each time) and also did interval training 2-3 times a week

What is your favorite fitness exercise?
Pull-ups are currently my favorite and hated exercise at the same time. Depending on how I’m feeling on the day.

How often have you done endurance training to lose fat?
2-3 times a week Michael’s interval training

What feedback have you received from those around you about the change in recent weeks?
Absolutely positive. Everyone talks to me and everyone notices that I’ve changed. According to family, friends and colleagues, I look much fitter and younger.

What’s next for you with personal training?
I have integrated the change in diet into my everyday life. As I have always been on diets where I had to give up a lot of things and therefore always had to struggle with food cravings, my weight has always gone back up again quickly after the diet. That is not the case this time.

I will also keep up my sporting activities and continue to train diligently.
